Partner Hotel Package
- Please note: only one partner per rider

- Shared accommodation with the rider. Will share a bed with the Hotel Package rider they are accompanying.

Partner Tented Package
- Same features of Partner Hotel Package but instead you will share a Red Cherry Events tent.

No Hassle Package
- Bikes will be collected from FAST KTM JHB or CPT and transported to the Arminel Hotel on the 3rd of March and returned on the 11th of March.
- You will be collected from East London airport on the 6th of March.
- Transferred by shuttle to Arminel Hotel and back to the airport on 9th of March
- Bikes shipped from the Hogsback back to JHB. Collect your bikes from FAST KTM CPT or JHB on the 11th of March.
- Note – Please book your flight into EL airport on 6th of March to be there before 1 pm. Your departure flight must be booked from EL Airport to depart not before 11 a.m. on Sunday 9 March. SafAir has some good deals for that time.
FAQs
How is accommodaction allocated?
For 2024, the base of Rallye Raid Adventure will be the Arminel Hotel.
Placing in the Arminel Hotel will be on a first come first serve basis to the first 80 entrants. After we have filled up the Arminel Hotel, riders will be placed in either the Hogsback Inn, Kings Lodge, May Lodge or The Edge. This placement is at the discretion of Red Cherry Events.
Do I need a GPS?
Yes, unless you choose to stick with a “GPS buddy” i.e a fellow rider who has a GPS. Riders will be given each day’s GPS route from which they navigate. The Garmin Etrex 22 or 10 OR the Garmin Montana come recommended.
What bikes are suitable?
Any street-legal adventure/sporting bike with semi off-road knobblies, as the terrain would be forest roads as well as some single track and gravel.
Can I ride both routes?
Due to the distances we would ride each day you are welcome to do both routes but may run out of time. If you prefer, you can branch off onto the easier route if you want to head back sooner or if the riding becomes a bit tough.

Cancellation policy
A R1500pp non-refundable deposit is required to secure your entry. Riders wanting to cancel will forfeit the following part of their entry fee:
- 75% of the total entry fee (less deposit) will be retained for admin costs and the balance refunded, if written notice via email is received before 1 December 2024.
- 50% of total entry fee (less deposit) will be refunded if written notice via email is received before 1 January 2025.
- 25% of the total entry fee (less deposit) will be refunded if written notice via email is received before 1 February 2025.
- After 15 February 2025, 0% will be refunded but riders will still be able to receive their goodie bags.
Rallye Raid will take place regardless of weather, and will only be cancelled, re-routed or stopped for safety reasons. In this event, entry fees are not refundable but will be transferable to the new event date. The organisers reserve the right to increase the cost, by no more than 15%, should the event be postponed for whatever reason.
